At Arundel Butchers, we pride ourselves on the high-quality meat
we source from dedicated suppliers in the UK along with our unique customer service.
The dry-cured bacon comes from Sandridge Farmhouse Bacon in Wiltshire; their award-winning bacon is cured in a traditional way using free-range pork. The golden rind bacon is smoked over oak and beechwood with no added water allowing rashers to properly sizzle in the pan.
The Chickens we stock come from Suffolk and are not intensively
reared allowing them to grow naturally maximising flavour and tenderness.
All our Scottish beef is hung on the bone for a minimum of 4 weeks allowing it to mature. Pork and lamb are sourced as local as possible and is butchered from whole carcasses.
Whether its snow or beautiful blue skies we have a wide selection of meats for all occasions offering free range turkeys at Christmas and English spring lamb at Easter. Come the summertime we prepare BBQ meats including burgers, kebabs, steaks, flavoured chicken and minted lamb chops. Autumn time heralds the start of the game season with us stocking local South Down venison and game.
The shop is a truly family run business and serves local residents almost exclusively. We know our customers and love being able to give them a friendly, familiar and fun local shop to use. We do all our own butchery and sausage making in the main shop so people get to see all we do and how we do it. Our main shop window is always filled to the brim and we take real pride in it. We believe that all these aspects really give us a unique shop.

We are renowned for our award-winning Joyce pork sausages which are made on site with the finest ingredients.
Our Joyce pork sausages are our best seller loved by all ages.
Tried and tested over the years we use the original recipe used by Joyce family butchers when they had the shop back in the 1950s.
We do make all our sausages in the shop and we make many flavours which vary according to which season we are in.
They all have a high meat content, using shoulder meat only, so maintaining flavour and texture.
